| You're on the official deviantArt site for R. Wolf Baldassarro- author, ghost hunter, and slut to the written word! I never did conform to normal ways of thinking and Einstein described the true Pisces as being both scientist and mystic. That would be me. Most of the time I just like to think shit up. I am the owner and operator of Deep Forest Productions, and started out publishing the e-zine The Grove Gazette between 1998 and 2001. I began publishing books and writings in 2007. Some titles to date include A Wolf in the Shadows, A Ghost Hunter's Field Guide, and Under a Sunlit Sky. I have been twice published in Mused Literary Review, been featured in local newspapers, and been a repeat guest on the Magick Taboo podcast, presented at literary events and poetry readings, and appeared twice at the Motor City Art Expo. I was also honored to be special adviser on the Konxari Card project by the IRM Foundation and I wrote the introduction to photographer Paul Michael Kane's "Final Destinations" pictorial. My newest release, Poetic Visions, debuted in December 2010 and is a 100-page collection of the photography you see here on deviantArt. In October 2009 I became a regular contributor for Pagan Pages magazine in which I host a column all about the world of the paranormal called Across the Great Divide. I do not limit myself to any specific genre of writing. I do poetry, fiction, and non-fiction on whatever topic tickles my fancy or provides my muse with creative inspiration. If anything you could say my genre is Life. The stories I write, and especially the poetry and shorter reflections range from depressing, to optimistic, to humorous and frightening. For that is life. Anyone who is happy 24/7 and has not a care in the world has not experienced life. When not writing, much attention is involved in my other main project as the founder of the Deep Forest Paranormal Society. Yes folks, I'm a ghost hunter! The Deep Forest website is the official place for in-depth information, news, updates, and links to various online places for my projects. I'm always interested in meeting fellow writers, artists, or anyone involved with the creative arts. I also enjoy new friends, intelligent conversation and whatever else comes my way. If you can shape it in your mind, you will find it in your life. |
